Air Rifle Shooting Sessions Air rifle target shooting is a sport suitable for all ages. It develops concentration and attention skills as well as developing a sense of discipline. Sessions can be provided both indoors or outdoors so weather is not a factor. Live Life Adventure can provide an air rifle shooting experience either at our own location or a location of your choice. Our sessions are popular with schools, colleges, and sports centres. We also provide private tuition. Session Outline Live Life Adventure's National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) qualified tutors provide air rifle shooting sessions for up to 8 people at a time, with sessions lasting from an hour to three hours depending on what the aim of the session is. Our qualified instructors will talk you through all the equipment and coach you throughout your session, providing a safe and fun learning environment that facilitates the development of your shooting skills while having an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The sessions are suitable for absolute beginners and upwards. If you have fired air rifles before our tutors can help you with your technique and aim. In a session our NSRA Qualified tutors will cover: - The rifle and other equipment - Range safety - How to load and shoot the rifle - How to improve shooting on target One you have got your eye in with the paper targets, you can then try your hand at some knock down animal target, before moving on to the spinners. The paper targets you can take home to show off your achievements. All participants in air rifle shooting sessions are required to sign to confirm that they are not banned or prevented from using a firearm under the terms of the Firearms act 1968 (with amendments 1997). There is a minimum age for air rifle shooting sessions of 8 years old. |
